Finch Asset Management
Finch Africa generates risk-adjusted absolute returns through investment in undervalued African and Africa-related securities. Launched in June 2006, the Portfolio combines fundamental stock picking methodologies, detailed due diligence and a macro view of the continent when considering investments. The primary focus is Sub-Saharan Africa, in particular those nations with active African Stock Exchanges. Investments may also be in debt securities and private equity. Returns are denominated in USD.
"We feel that Mobile-XL has excellent opportunities to succeed. But we especially value the product they developed and the benefits that people in countries, lacking the necessary infrastructure, would benefit from it by having access to most of what we take for granted here in the West. In a small way we feel that we contribute to the improvement of some conditions for our fellow men"
